A Weekend at Huntington
"a truly indulgent new wine, food and music experience"
It gives me enormous pleasure to finally be able to share our plans for this Spring's Weekend at Huntington with you.
It will be an intimate and indulgent weekend for the lucky few, designed to delight those who enjoy the finest things in life - wine, food and music - in equal measure.
Just 200 tickets will be released for this new event which allows us to provide elevated comfort, food and service levels. While we won’t be presenting the number of concerts / musicians nor the international artists of the Huntington Estate Music Festival, the quality of musician and music will remain world class.
The Music
THE ARTISTS: Much loved Music Festival alumni The Goldner String Quartet (Dene Olding, Irina Morozova, Dimity Hall and Julian Smiles); James Crabb (classical accordion) and Andrew Meisel (Bass) will play in a variety of ensembles.
"We are all excited at the prospect of returning to Huntington this November to inaugurate a musical weekend with a different look and feel, where winemakers and chefs share the limelight with us musicians." Dene Olding.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS: The program is yet to be finalized, but highlights will include masterworks from Bach, Beethoven and Dvorak; Piazolla and an exploration of the folk music from around the world that is the inspiration for so much Western Art Music.
We are very excited to have commissioned the highly acclaimed young Australian composer Holly Harrison to write a new work for the full ensemble, that will premiere at the weekend - a reflection on the theme of "New Beginnings" which seemed apt.

Tickets for a Weekend at Huntington will cost $725 per head.
NB: If the event is unable to go ahead due to COVID restrictions, full refunds will be available for those who can't wait for a reschedule.
Seating
The concerts will be staged in the round and seating will be allocated by the office team.
